"Lory Hawkes is a senior professor at DeVry University where she teaches professional writing in the General Education department and Web design in the Computer Information Systems department. She is both a fellow and a member of the board of directors for the Society of Technical Communication.
Hawkes has written essays and two on the Internet/Web technolgies, and with her co-authors Christina Murphy and Joe Law, complied the annotated bibliography, The Theory and Criticism of Virtual Texts (2000)."
