Biography
David Bartholomae was born in 1948. He received his PhD from Rutgers University in 1975. He is a Professor of English and a former Chair of the English Department at the University of Pittsburgh. is primary research interest are in Composition, Literacy and Pedagogy, although his work engages scholarship in Rhetoric and in American Literature/American Studies.
